Attend debates

Members of the public who wish to attend sittings of the Senate may submit a request to the following email address: visitealsenato@senato.it

Requests must be received at least two working days prior to the sitting concerned.

For each applicant, the following details must be provided:

full name;
place and date of birth;
nationality;
full residential address;
details of a valid identification document (number, place and date of issue, expiry date);
telephone contact number (of the designated contact person only) for any follow-up communication.

Confirmation of the appointment is subject to receipt of a confirmation email.

Please note that appropriate attire is required within the Palace; men are required to wear a jacket and tie.

In the event that the sitting is suspended, members of the public will not be permitted to remain in the gallery, nor will alternative activities be arranged.

Museums in Music->

The Senate of the Republic is participating in the “Museums in Music” initiative, scheduled for SATURDAY, 7 DECEMBER 2024. To visit Palazzo Madama, it will be necessary to obtain an entry ticket by presenting yourself at the entrance at Piazza Madama No. 11 on the same day, starting from 19:00 onward.

Each visitor may request, subject to availability, a maximum of two tickets if an adult or one ticket if a minor, choosing a time slot between 20:00 and 12:00 AM (last entry at 23:30, with 30-minute intervals).

Visitors are required to wear appropriate attire, though jackets and ties are not mandatory for men. Photography and video recording are strictly prohibited.

Bringing bags, backpacks, sharp or blunt objects, or bulky items is not permitted.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NEVER POSSIBLE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE AND THAT THE SENATE HAS NOT ENTRUSTED ANY TOUR OPERATOR WITH THE PROMOTION OR ORGANIZATION OF VISITS.
